Every year thousands of people are affected by illnesses when they travel abroad, most commonly this includes traveller’s diarrhoea, but also dangerous illnesses such as malaria. Both these conditions can be treated and, in the case of Malaria, prevented with the help of the right medications. This is why we’ve decided to make two new additions to our range of available treatments, the Traveller’s Diarrhoea Pack as well as the three different malaria prevention medications.
Just before going on a holiday abroad, many people don’t always have the time to go to their doctor to get their malaria treatments, and some don’t even consider that diarrhoea is a potential risk. However, having the option to get the right travel health treatments online can save a patient time and will ensure that they leave for their holiday prepared, without it adding to the stress of preparing to go abroad.
Traveller’s Diarrhoea Pack
For many holiday makers, falling ill abroad is one of the worst things that can happen, especially if you aren’t sure where to go for treatment, or what treatments you need. The Traveller’s Diarrhoea Pack includes four treatments to help deal with the symptoms of traveller’s diarrhoea, prevent dehydration and deal with the bacteria responsible for the symptoms and can be ordered in advance of travelling. These medications are:
Ciproxin – Ciproxin is an anti-biotic that is taken in a two tablet course. Bacteria is one of the most likely causes of traveller’s diarrhoea, and Ciproxin works by preventing the bacteria from repairing itself when it’s attacked by the immune system, which means that it dies off quicker than it normally would.
Imodium –Having more than three or four loose stools is one of the main symptoms of diarrhoea and this is what makes the illness so dangerous, as this can lead to malnutrition and dehydration. This is because the body doesn’t have enough time during the digestion process to be able to get all the nutrients and moisture from food that it needs to. This over-the-counter treatment is commonly used to help slow down digestion, so that the body is able to better absorb nutrients.
Dioralyte – Dioralyte helps with rehydration. It contains various salts also known as electrolytes that help stimulate absorption of water within the body.
Buccastem – Nausea and cramps are some of the other really uncomfortable symptoms associated with traveller’s diarrhoea, but Buccastem is able to help alleviate these, to make your illness more bearable.
Anti-malarials
Anti-malarial medications differ depending on the location you are travelling to, which is why we offer three different treatments, namely Doxycycline, Paludrine & Avloclor as well as Malarone to provide an option for all the main malaria locations. These malaria treatments should all be started before a patient leaves on their holiday to ensure that enough of the treatment has built up in their system to deal with any contact with the parasite straight away. Most of the people that return to their home countries with malaria are those that get bitten by the anopheles mosquito carrying the parasite, if they haven’t taken any preventative medications or if they didn’t take it correctly, which makes taking these treatments extremely important.
Although some of these treatments don’t require a prescription, we still want to ensure that all patients ordering can do so safely, which is why we ask them to complete a quick, yet thorough online consultation. This consultation is also what enables our doctor to be able to recommend that correct malaria medications, dependent on the location they are travelling to. All these treatments are available to be shipped via overnight delivery, so that they’ll be delivered as soon as possible.

The world of search engine optimisation can seem daunting at first, with the winning formulas looking an awful lot like black magic. But making the most of your marketing with the help of SEO is a science, and the algorithms you need are close at hand to unlock the potential. If you are just beginning to use SEO, the wealth of information available online about it can be overwhelming, and it can be difficult to know where to begin.
We have found a document that we believe is the perfect graphical representation of how to maximise the benefits of SEO. It was produced by SearchEngineLand and is available as a PDF document. As you will see, it creatively presents the world of SEO ranking factors in the form of a periodic table, including on the page and off the page SEO, violations to bear in mind and the danger of blocking.
Successful marketing is the key to a successful business, and SEO has become a vital part of this. Documents like the periodic tablet provide a visual aid by which to begin to understand the search engine optimisation process.
